Oldham Cycling Forum Wed 17/9/2014 6pm
Oldham Council are holding their second 2014 cycling forum on Wednesday September 17th from 6pm to 7pm
Message from:
Councillor Arooj Shah, Deputy Cabinet Member Policy and Communications, Oldham Council
I am writing to invite you to attend the second Oldham Cycling Forum, which will take place on Wednesday, 17 September at 6pm in the Council Chambers at the Civic Centre.
We believe the first Cycling forum in April was a good start in improving the dialogue with you as key stakeholders and ambassadors for the borough. It was a fantastic opportunity for us to share key information with you and also to hear your concerns and ideas.
This next forum we will again discuss any issues or opportunities that you are currently experiencing in your work and how you think we can continue to improve our services. There will be an opportunity for you to ask questions about these important matters.
We will update you on specific issues and requests that arose from the previous forum, including Highways and also give you a general update on our vision and plans for the borough.
I will Chair the forum and Councillor Dave Hibbert, the Cabinet Member with responsibility for Highways will be attending.
Please find attached a pdf of a poster with all the meeting information. Could you please display this poster or forward the details of this meeting to anyone you think may be interested in attending?
I hope this forum will again be a productive and insightful event for everyone. I would be grateful if you would let us know if you are able to attend by either responding by sending an email to marketing@oldham.gov.uk or by sending a text with your name to 07860003006.
I look forward to meeting you on 17 September. Please come to the Civic Centre Entrance / Reception area as shown on the attached map – pdf.
