Bike Friday: Outside Wythenshawe Hospital in British Heart Foundation's National Heart Month 2011
Bike Friday participants wore red on Friday 25th February 2011 to raise awareness about the health benefits of cycling.
Donations were encouraged for Wear Red Day, part of the British Heart Foundation’s National Heart Month.
Cyclists met in various locations and rode into central Manchester as usual.
Then an extra ride went from Exchange Square to the Heart Centre at UHSM Wythenshawe Hospital.
