Critical Commute
Manchester’s Critical Commute happens on the last Friday of every month. The next one is Friday 29 June 2007.
The idea is to make cycling visible to drivers and demonstrate that it’s a viable way to get around. If you haven’t cycled for a while, it’s a chance to enjoy safety in numbers and learn from others who have more experience. And it’s fun. And of course it’s entirely law abiding and doesn’t try to stop the traffic.
The starting points are
Chorlton Green (by Horse and Jockey) 8:00am
Withington Library 8:00am
Levenshulme Station 8:00am
All rides finish in Manchester city centre at St Peter’s Square or Albert Square.
